Movies in Theatres - Red Riding Hood

Releasing: Friday, March 11th

Jennifer's Body Amanda Seyfried is back in this fantasy and horror movie about a young girl residing in a medieval village who falls in love with an orphaned woodcutter. To her demise, the pact that her village and the werewolf have has been broken, thus killings have been more prominent. Not only that, but her family has planned for Seyfried to marry a man she does not love and in her decision to run away with her only true love, the woodcutter, she runs into trouble when the wolf decides to hunt them down.

I can't wait to see this movie! I am a huge Twilight fan and enjoy every single movie, so knowing that the director of Twilight is also directing Red Riding Hood increases my desire to go watch it. My fascination for mystical creatures have always been vampires and werewolves, especially taking place in a medieval setting and this movie offers that. Also, the pale opaque colors create suspense and I love that the only thing that stands out is the infamous Red Riding Hood Cape. I suspect this movie to be similar to that of Underworld and a bit of Twilight essence. If you are fascinated by werewolves and are a twilight fan, I recommend you check this movie out!
