I Am Number FOUR

I just saw this movie a couple minutes ago with my bf and sister. It is an action/fantasy/sci-fi thriller about 9 alien teenagers that have escaped their home planet and are currently living among us human beings until they are uncovered & are being hunt down SEQUENTIALLY. John Smith, number 4 (& the next one targeted), has to keep his mysterious powers under control or else he has to migrate somewhere else; keeping his identity unknown is most important. He goes through struggles with human aspects like bullying, studying, making friends, and falling in love. Of course, Smith also runs into trouble with Mogadorians (the bad guys who are also aliens..) and some odd looking creatures.

The movie was really good that if I had to rate it, I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars. :)

I have to admit that based on the previews, I had expected to see non-stop action with explosions and all this magical stuff but that was only seen in the last couple minutes of the movie. I guess I understand why they made it like that because they wanted everyone to get a glimpse of the beginning of how everything came about. I am the type of person who loves to see action from beginning to end like in Transformers 3 which I so loved but like I said before, it was probably due to the story getting rid of in the first two movies. [CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEW TRANSFORMERS MOVIE!!]

Alex Pettyfer a.k.a "John Smith" fit the character very well. He had the face, the athletic body, and for being a model-made-actor... he performed the role very well. His next movie, Beastly, is coming out soon on March 13th so save the date!
