The Town

I used to think that Ben Affleck was not a very good actor but after seeing this movie which he directed as well as acts in it, my opinion changed a bit. The plot of this movie deals with a bank robber (Ben) from Charlestown neighborhood of Boston, and his crew, who are really good at what they do. However after one of their jobs Ben finds himself falling for the bank manager. This ends up complicating things later on and it is a thrilling plot!!!

    After watching this movie I thought it was good, but it was kind of a let down. I was expecting greatness from it. The movie has good action and decent acting, but I thought the praise it got from critics mostly getting over 90%'s and A's were a bit over rated grades. What do you think?

    Agreed, I also saw the previous and thought it looked like an amazing film but once I saw it my thoughts were that it was an "alright" film. Not too bad but not super awesome...anyway thank you for your comment!!

    Totally agree. After seeing such amazing reviews, I was expecting something along the lines of "The Departed"... Not even close. The acting was good, although I don't think Blake Lively deserved a role. And the ending was so predictable!
